Treasure Detectives is currently
under reconstruction
You may have seen our video on You Tube where it talks about using
Google Earth to find possible treasure hunting sites. If you have
already done your research about a possible area then narrowing it down
to an exact location before you go metal detecting will save you hours
and increase your finds. It would be great to find old pathways leading
to river crossings as well as old villages of which there is no trace
except from the air. These techniques are not new of course. They were
pioneered by Raymond Selkirk with his book the Piercebridge
Formula. Metal detecting is such a great past time and the
finds can be very lucrative so you owe it to yourself to use all the
methods available to you. Happy metal detecting.
